I ate here before I left for the airport to head back to San Francisco & upon discovering this gem I sincerely wished I had more time to hang out here. The food is good & the atmosphere is super cute & laid back.

There is great outdoor seating & both inside & outside they have a ton of ping pong tables, which I just think is the funnest thing. It’s easy to rent some ping pong balls, grab a beer, & enjoy the afternoon before settling down to a tasty dinner.

Both the inside & the outside is cute. They honestly didn’t miss a beat with any of the decor & I love all the space. This would be a great place for a big group with enough room for everybody & plenty to keep people entertained, too.

The food is Asian inspired, but still pretty modern American. Reminds me a bit of the Slanted Door restaurant – they serve Asian inspired dishes, too, although this place isn’t as fancy. Both are delicious, though. Really.

You can sit at the bar outside or inside. It was mostly empty when I arrived (early) before my flight, but had started to fill up as I left. I imagine it gets quite busy as the evening wears on.

I ordered a fun & unusual drink, even though I normally don’t order drinks at all, generally preferring water. This was a bitter lemonade & it really was just that. Bitter & a bit tangy, but still sweet at the same time. I liked that the sugar of the lemonade definitely did not overwhelm me. Super tasty & unlike drinks I’ve seen anywhere else.

This is the Coconut Lemongrass soup. I think you can get it with meat, but I got a vegetarian version. I really loved the flavors – tangy & creamy. There was no dairy in the soup either & the coconut milk was really tasty. I did think it was a bit rich & could have been cut down a bit with some other, lighter broth, but it was really delicious.

I also ordered the Vegetarian Gyoza. SO good! I actually ended up having to take them to go at the last minute when my shuttled called to tell me they’d be there much earlier than they had originally told me (quite frustrating), but they were very tasty & I’d order them again, for sure.

Overall a good spot & definitely somewhere I’d visit again next time I’m in Denver. I’d prefer to make it a long visit though & just hang out & enjoy the atmosphere. They aren’t a fast place by any means & would be best enjoyed in a group, hanging out on a late Saturday afternoon & evening.

Have fun!
