I’ve been joining Rebecca and her family on sailing adventures in Half Moon Bay for, well, over a decade. We’ve been best friends since the moment we met when I was a new girl in school in 4th grade. We’ve done Girl Scouts together and spent years hiking and walking and making cookies together. It’s a good life with this girl and her family in it.
Recently, we introduced Sam to her family’s favorite past time. On a quiet, sunny day in Half Moon Bay we put up the sails and puttered around the harbor. This is not ocean sailing or big wave riding: This is relaxing on a sunny day in the prettiest place on Earth. Lucky? You bet.
We always spend a few hours on the water when we go out and then we hang out at the Yacht Club and eat popcorn and drink wine and watch the sun go down. It’s pretty much a little slice of heaven and I hope we do this for many many years to come. (Hear that, Rebecca?? xo)
Nothing else to say. I suppose I’ve been on an image heavy blogging roll recently. Image heavy and everything else (words and tips and plans) a little bit less heavy. Still loving it and really enjoying digging up images.
This doesn’t look like Winter, does it? It wasn’t. 😉 haha
