We took a cooking class while were in Chiang Mai, Thailand. When you start looking for things to do in Thailand, it’s one of the first things to pop up. And, honestly, they are everywhere. We headed to Trip Advisor to make our choice (a usual stop when looking for recommendations) and were immediately overwhelmed by the number of companies offering this! So many, in case you were wondering. Much cooking.
The Chiang Mai Thai Farm Cooking School had great reviews and, despite a rather SEO focused name, we signed up. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this whole day. The price was right (I think $50 USD per person for the full day although I cannot quite remember), it included a market tour, our teacher was amazing, and the entire set of cooking lessons took place on a little farm in the countryside outside of Chiang Mai. Totally perfect.
Because the day was such a hit, I’m breaking it up into two posts: Today we have a little photo essay showing you around the market and tomorrow I’ll be popping in to share photos from our actual cooking class, including recipes and some of the delicious dishes we made. Yum!
Until then, enjoy the market! <3
