I spent the long weekend at Outside Lands in San Francisco, soaking up the fresh air, bundled against the fog, and dancing my booty off to the music. It was beautiful and fun and busy and I’m so glad I had the chance to go.
I was there with a client, Lady Falcon Coffee Club, helping with photos and managing social media. They’re one of my favorite brands and clients and getting to spend the weekend with all the rad ladies who run this delicious coffee truck is one of my favorite things. A few snaps feature them!
Festival merch was so cute. I loved the hats, the pretty blankets, and I even saw a guy with some great Outside Lands socks. Too funny.
We saw the Avett Brothers in late afternoon sunlight and it was a perfect show. Very relaxed, chill, and good for dancing.
Had to have a beer at Beer Lands (of course) and peeked at the cute three hole mini golf course (although for $20/person to play, I did *not* put myself on that list! haha).
Bomba Estéreo was so much fun. Talk about a poppin’ Colombian dance party! Such a good show, especially a good group to see live. Somebody blew bubbles towards the stage and I just love the way they caught the light. Each evening the trees were lit up in multi colors. It made the whole park feel like a magical place to be.
Metallica was v fun to see, although more for the entire experience as I’m not a mega fan or anything. The lasers through the fog was so fun and they had fireworks at the end, too!
We arrived early on Sunday to see K.Flay, who is just generally bad ass and a super fun babe to see performing. She gives a damn good show and just generally doesn’t seem to give a fuck about anything else, which is so fun.
So much good food and fun little San Francisco details to find throughout the event.
Back at Lady Falcon for some cute baristas and tasty caffeine! They roast the best beans.
All the different totems are so fun to look at. This astronaut in the fog was cute.
Rebelution in the fog was just what it should have been. A good little dance break in the trees and then I headed over to Lorde, who was a priority. She gave a damn good show and was quite chatty on stage!
Gearing up for The Who. They have sooo much music to choose from and it was fun to hear some hits and laugh with them as they talked about how old they are. So cute, like watching your pops on stage, haha.
And then Solange! We headed over to her stage early to get a good spot and I got to see the whole stage from very close!
They went on a little late, making sure everything was perfect, and then the whole damn show was perfect. She is a magician and every single part of the show was an art piece. If you get a chance to see her live, go! She’s magic.
Thanks again for a fabulous weekend! Can’t wait to come back next year. xx
